Energy and Power supported the Ohanet gas gathering and treatment facilities development in the Sahara desert location, Algeria throughout the project lifecycle from the scope definition for EPC contract through the project approval and sanction process to execution and now into operations undertaking de-bottlenecking studies, identifying options and FEED.
Description of Services
Energy and Power has provided engineering verification and project management services. The engineering verification and project management addressed all disciplines of the development within engineering offices, vendor locations and site. In addition, we have provided services centred around specific scopes of work including incident investigation, HAZOP close out, management of QRA and development of Safety Case.
Energy and Power’s scope also included introduction of management systems to support development within audit of rig facilities, environmental studies, development of remediation plans, various production engineering issues and modifications. The Energy and Power team managed the FEED and defined the cost estimates, developed the HSE scope of the EPC/detailed design and managed commissioning of the facilities; we are now the umbrella engineering contractor for the site.
