Inpex sought to build and operate an LNG plant in the Kimberley area off the northwest coast of Australia. Energy and Power were contracted to provide a process design study.
Description of Services
Energy and Power’s scope was to assess and recommend the selection of compressor, provide commentary on the single motor driven scheme as well as provide advice on how to modify the SLD to cater for VSD and soft start schemes.
A review of the possible advantages of refrigerant compressor speed adjustment was also supplied.
