Description of Services
Energy and Power have supported the client’s detailed design effort by providing specialist design services relating to flare and vent systems. Energy and Power used specialist software for the sizing of the flare and vent systems, Flarenet, and determining the consequences of radiation and dispersion from the stacks, CIRRUS.
The engineering was carried out for the client to support their approvals process with the operator and to expedite the engineering definition for procurement.
Energy and Power’s scope also included interface management of an academic consultancy to provide empirical analysis of the blowdown temperature profiles, a key consideration in the specification for equipment in these systems.
