• Who are the main FSRU market players;
• How many are currently in operation, construction & planned;
• Regional review;
• What are their capacities and utilisations;
• What are the technological concepts applied e.g. storage, vaporisation, utilities, LNG transfer, power generation;
• What are the potential costs (CAPEX, OPEX, people on board etc);
• What is the expected industry trend;
• Strategic alliances and commercial considerations;
• Ability to undertake LNG trading.
Description of Services
Energy and Power performed this study by a combination of the following:
• Initial desk research including internet;
• Collecting data from Energy and Power FSRU data base;
• Discussions with the major FSRU service providers.
The data gathered was analysed and categorised for each section of the report. Trends were identified and reported.
