Statement of Relevance
The Jubilee project lies off the coast of Ghana and potentially represents one of the largest offshore oil discoveries in recent history. The field is in water depth ranging from 900m to 1700m and will be developed via manifolded subsea wells and FPSO production systems.
Description of services
Energy and Power was appointed by the Technical Banks group to undertake a review of the project and to provide a Due Diligence function in support of a multi-billion dollar finance package.
Our role included a Technical and Project Management review of the proposals for the deep water oil development – The facilities comprise turret moored FPSO, remote drilling, subsea manifolds, flowlines & risers.
We have also provided an independent assessment of overall facilities cost and implementation schedule, together with a review of the project management, contracts and procurement management and the implementation by the incumbent project team.
