Energy and Power were employed by the UK government’s Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to review the potential of the patented Mid Range LNG process developed by Gas Consult Ltd. The study successfully demonstrated that there were no technical, safety, environmental, commercial or marketing obstacles to the process.
Description of Services
The brief of the study was to assess the feasibility of applying the Simplxlng process developed and patented by GasConsult Ltd. to opportunities in the UK for both offshore and onshore modular Mid Range LNG facilities. The work incorporated a conceptual study for modularized LNG process for 1MTPA, including commercial and safety analysis followed by vendor liaison and selection.
